We're seeking a Director of Emergency Department for a three-hospital system in central New York State. The System Nursing Director for the Emergency Departments has the responsibility, authority and accountability for the clinical, financial and personnel management of three emergency departments with consultation and guidance.
Education Requirements: Current NYS nursing licensure and Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree preferred. Certification required. Applicant must possess prior proven experience and expertise in clinical area relevant to patient population (minimum of five years clinical experience). Candidate must also possess excellent communication skills and writing ability. BLS, ACLS and PALS required. Prefer candidate who has worked in a magnet organization.
