      Pharmacy First is in need of a talented professional who has been a Pharmacy Technician and wants to expand their knowledge of the pharmacy industry or has previous knowledge of pharmacy operations to sell our programs and services to current and prospective pharmacy clients.
      The Sales Consultant responsibilities include:
      • Serves as a point of contact for inquiries from wholesale reps and employees regarding our programs and services with focused attention on additional programs and services offered
      • Investigates new opportunities with potential clients for the sale of our programs and services
      • Follow up on referrals and leads resulting from field activity, tradeshows, or incoming customer service calls
      • Follows up on leads provided by pharmacy reps by calling on new pharmacies, terminated pharmacies and/or archived pharmacies to gain interest in company programs and services
      • Coordinates with company staff to close sales and start the enrollment process
      • Prepares a variety of sales status reports that include activity, follow-up and enrollments
      • Assists in the development and the execution of marketing plans of the company to be used for internal reporting and external sales presentations
      • Captures key competitive and industry trend data to support and build our sales pipeline
      • Creates presentations and marketing information that communicates the benefits of our programs and services for clients and employees
      • Presents company programs and services to pharmacies, affiliates, sales reps and new employees
      • Attends trade shows, affiliate offices, pharmacies, state associations, etc. in order to present and educate current and potential clients on our programs and services
      Desired Skills:
      • Proven success in sales and/or marketing, including problem solving and strategic thinking
      • Experience with managing projects and tasks in an efficient manner
      • Experience in a pharmacy retail environment
      • Effective analytical, oral and written communication and organizational skills
      • Systems and software proficiency, including MS Office applications and CRM solutions
      Basic Qualifications:
      • BS/BA in Business related degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Management preferred
      • Pharmacy services background, including knowledge of prescription drugs and specialty products
      • Knowledge of PBM industries and PBM claims processing systems preferred
      • 2 years pharmacy technician experience preferred, but not required
