Job Description

We are currently in the process of enhancing our compliance program both in relation to designing the framework, developing guidelines and ensuring implementation, training and monitoring. To help drive this agenda, we are now hiring an Associate Director, Corporate Compliance (U.S.) with strong biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience.

In this role, you will work with the LEO U.S. colleagues to provide guidance and support across the life-cycle of LEO Pharma products from pipeline to LOE, for all commercial and medical affairs functions. The specific focus of this role is designing, implementing, and overseeing the training and enforcement of healthcare compliance policies and programs.

Your contribution to the team includes: 

  • Operationalizing compliance policies by leading in the design, development, and implementation of SOPs and program controls;
  • Working with the Compliance team to develop and roll out training to internal clients, partners, and stakeholders on key compliance policies and procedures;
  • Conducting Monitoring and Auditing of transactions and interactions with the healthcare community;
  • Reviewing proposed engagements with US healthcare related stakeholders to identify any compliance risk areas and to suggest mitigation strategies, as appropriate;
  • Reviewing business materials requiring compliance operational input and advising internal clients, partners, and stakeholders on appropriate strategies, plans and tactics;
  • Conducting and managing compliance investigations regarding allegations of compliance and/or ethical policy deviations as well as the resulting corrective action plans;
  • Identify opportunities for modernization, innovation, and creative engagement within ongoing compliance projects;

Desired Skills & Experience
  • You have a maximum of 8+ years in the biotech/pharma and or medical device industry. With at least 3+ years of relevant experience in the healthcare compliance field
  • You worked hard to get your bachelor degree and continues on receiving your JD
  • You have strong verbal and written business communications skills
  • You demonstrated track record of partnering with business management to provide guidance and implementation of effective compliance process;
  • You are capable and able to work in a fast-paced environment while addressing risks collaboratively with solutions that are company appropriate;
