A long established independent owner managed boutique healthcare communications agency delivering Medical Education programmes. 

The agency’s client base is predominantly UK Pharmaceutical and BioTech companies. Working on a mixture of national and international campaigns you will initially spend 50% of your time managing a team of 9 and 50% of your time writing / editing content. The agency has experienced high headhunt growth over the past few years and therefore as the writing team expands you will spend more time on line managing providing leadership through mentoring, implementation of processes, and quality control.  

The owners are hands on with leading strategy and business development - they have 50 years of experience between them meaning you’ll be learning from people at the top of their game. The directors have a background in big Pharma which gives them and you a unique insight into what medical affairs teams need and expect from their medical education agencies. Currently at 30 staff the directors plan to be at 40 staff by end 2020 - with this fast paced growth and impressive annual revenue you will benefit from excellent career development prospects. 

Located in Buckinghamshire surrounded by lovely Chilterns countryside the office is easily reached from all of Buckinghamshire as well as from many parts of West London, North West London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Bedfordshire. Editorial Director Medical Education. The team structure : 

The editorial team, which you will line manager, are 100% responsible for all writing and editing of content - the editorial team do not become involved in KOL liaison. The KOL interfacing is handled by the client services team This clear division allows writers and editors to focus on what they do best - creating top class content for an audience of health care professionals.  As Editorial Team Leader you will liaise with heads of Client Services teams regarding content aims and objectives.

• Work experience at a senior editorial level within medical writing - such as Editorial Director, Editorial Team Leader, Principal Medical Editor, Senior Medical Editor, Medical Editor, Principal Medical Writer, Senior Medical Writer, or Medical Writer
  
  
• Experience of developing content to be delivered across a range of Medical Education deliverables and programmes such as :
