Job Description
We've been retained by an innovative, science-based health and wellness company dedicated to eradicating the significantly rising epidemic of food allergies. The company is based in the San Francisco Bay area of CA.
The person in this role will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and will supoprt the launch of a new product targeted toward the pediatric population. They will operate in a dual capacity--Medical Director and Medical Science Liaison and will be responsible for providing external and internal customers with medical and scientific information and support regarding the company's products.
Although this is an office-based role, the Medical Director will be responsible for proactively building healthcare professional relationships and supporting key sales force in-field programs, functioning as the MSL. As such, the Medical Director will need to be a credible and valued member of the company's commercial team with an ability to interact cross-functionally with all key stakeholders internally and externally with stakeholders and KOLs.

- Final Signatory experience, with good working knowledge of promotional regulations
- Pediatric and nutritional knowledge preferable
- Significant and proven track record of excellence in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience launching new products, market shaping and launch readiness activities
- Good understanding of healthcare systems in the USA
- Proven ability to establish positive scientific relationships with KOLs and academic societies
- Ability to travel up to 40%
- Professional credentials (M.D., D.O., or nutrition science PhD
