Key functions : 

• Client lead responsible for : 
• Develop, influence, and driving client brand strategy 
• Translation of strategy into actionable and profitable creative briefings ensuring brand messaging and tactics is communicated to internal teams 
• Ensuring profitable delivery of projects 
• Building trusted client relationships 
• Lead client services team members 
• Nurture key talent 
• Mentor & develop direct reports 
• Inspire and lead by example  
• Key in New Business development : 
• Proactively seek new business opportunities from existing & prospective clients 
• Implement new business plans in liaison with senior management 
• Maintain a network of potential clients 
• Develop relationships within the wider agency network so as to maximise new business potential and existing client spend 
• Maintain commercial viability of accounts : 
• Set financial targets and establish account plans to achieve targets 
• Monitor overall account financials 
• Forecasting of monthly and quarterly profits 
• Ensure billing deadlines are met 
• Lead on financial discussions with clients 
• Maintain oversight to ensure annual financial targets are met 

• Experience at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level within healthcare marketing agency environment 
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical, healthcare & wellness market 
• Ethical healthcare (prescription-only) brand experience is essential. 
• An understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle 
• Awareness of the European and UK pharmaceutical marketing regulatory environment
