As Client Partner Healthcare Communications you will lead healthcare communications accounts for Ethical Healthcare brand marketing campaigns on behalf of top 20 pharmaceutical clients.

 

You will have strategic account responsibility ensuring clients stand-out in the complex competitive health & wellness market. You will line manage and mentor a team of account executives, account managers, and account directors. 

 

Responsibilties : 

  • Developing, influencing, and driving healthcare brand strategy
  • Translating strategy into actionable and profitable creative briefings 
  • Ensuring profitable delivery of healthcare marketing campaigns
  • Building trusted client relationships with pharmaceutical clients 
  • Lead client services team members
  • Nurture key talent with the healthcare marketing agency 
  • Mentor & develop your direct reports
  • Inspire and lead by example 
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities from existing & prospective clients
  • Implement new business plans in liaison with senior management
  • Maintain a network of potential clients
  • Develop relationships within the wider healthcare communications agency network so as to maximise new business potential and existing client spend
  • Set financial targets and establish account plans to achieve targets
  • Monitor overall account financials
  • Forecasting of monthly and quarterly profits
  • Ensure billing deadlines are met
  • Lead on financial discussions with clients
  • Maintain oversight to ensure annual financial targets are met

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level 
  • Experience of working in healthcare communications
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical, healthcare & wellness market
  • Experience of delivering healthcare communication campaigns for Ethical healthcare products 
  • An understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle
  • Awareness of the European and UK pharmaceutical marketing regulatory environment
