Associate Director Medical Education

£120 - 150k GBP

An independent niche player in Medical Communications. Having increased headcount 50% year on year since 2017 the timing is now right to bring on board an Associate Director to provide strategic counsel regarding medical education objectives, and team leadership. 

Promotion to Management team at Director level is assured.  
You will join the current 3 Group Managung Directors to take on increased responsibility for Group Strategy across the various business units, developing and implementing business and operational process.

Your immediate priority will be to optimise the profitability of accounts through strategic counsel and leadership of Account / Client Services Directors.

The focus is on delivering best in class Medical Education to influence behaviour change and create brand advocacy. The agency has strong strategic relationships with clients and faculty. A key USP is director led programmes giving clients the confidence that accounts are cared for by seniors immersed in the brand strategy. You will therefore have input as regards the strategic design of medical education programmes. On occasion the agency works with other specialists as part of integrated campaigns - this includes specialists in Market Access, Patient Advocacy, and Healthcare PR.   

Located in Buckinghamshire surrounded by lovely Chilterns countryside the office is easily reached from all of Buckinghamshire as well as from many parts of West London, North West London, Middlesex, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Bedfordshire. There is free car parking at the office and Central London is easily reached by tube. It’s a great team with regular socials and a terrific supportive working environment. 

Associate Director Medical Education : Team structure 

You will report directly to the 3 Managing Group Directors.

The intention is that you will soon join the management team.

A key USP of this business is that MedEd programmes are headed by the 3 Directors - they have hands on input into the strategic design. As the business increases you will be involved in suppoorting the directors to design & implment further operational processes. At present the Client Services teams are led by Account Directors - you will oversee 2-3 Account Directors. There is separate editorial team of 10 writers / editors headed by an Editorial Team Leader.

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • Experience leading design of Medical Education programmes.
  • Ability to provide strategic counsel to account teams and clients
