Senior Medical Publications Manager : Job Function
- Liaise with the researchers, and the pharmaceutical company in order to develop the publication plan.
- Liaising with authors and medical affairs teams at the Pharma client so as to understand the clinical and scientific data regarding the drug
- Contributing to the development of the global medical publications plan providing strategic guidance together with the Scientific Director
- Day to day project management of the client account ensuring timely circulation of the deliverables within the Publications Plan such as Abstracts, Scientific Posters, and Scientific Manuscripts
- Allocation of work to juniors
- Mentoring of associate medical writers.
- Medical writing
- Editing of copy for scientific, clinical, and regulatory compliance
You will have an opportunity to contribute to Publication Planning thought leadership through attending industry conferences and writing papers - for example ISMPP.
As a senior member of the medical communications team you will lead on a particular disease area becoming the team expert as regards clinical data and publications strategy.
Accounts are high value and complex - usually with a minimum of 200 deliverables. This means you benefit from stimulating work.
