Responsibilities :
- Developing, influencing, and driving healthcare brand strategy
- Translating strategy into actionable and profitable creative briefings
- Ensuring profitable delivery of healthcare marketing campaigns
- Building trusted client relationships with pharmaceutical clients
- Nurture key talent with the healthcare marketing agency
- Mentor & develop your direct reports
- Inspire and lead by example
- Key in New Business development :
- Proactively seek new business opportunities from existing & prospective clients
- Implement new business plans in liaison with senior management
- Maintain a network of potential clients
- Develop relationships within the wider healthcare communications agency network so as to maximise new business potential and existing client spend
- Maintain commercial viability of accounts :
- Set financial targets and establish account plans to achieve targets
- Monitor overall account financials
- Forecasting of monthly and quarterly profits
- Ensure billing deadlines are met
- Lead on financial discussions with clients
- Maintain oversight to ensure annual financial targets are met

Candidate Specification. Account Director Healthcare Advertising
- Experience at Senior Account Manager or Account Director level
- Experience of working in healthcare communications
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical, healthcare & wellness market
- Experience of delivering healthcare communication campaigns for Ethical healthcare products
- An understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle
- Awareness of the European and UK pharmaceutical marketing regulatory environment
- Right to work in UK
