Job Description
  • Lead on the development of the narrative for Publication Plans across high value complex global accounts.
  • Joining a team in Central London (UK) you will be the brand guardian working with Authors and Clients to deliver first in class deliverables for the Publication Plan.

Your responsibilities are :

  • Develop the Publications Strategy - setting the narrative so that the team will deliver the materials that meet the Straregy.
  • Brand Guardian. You will therefore maintain the integrity of your client's brand and the integrity of the trial data.
  • Lead on a particular disease area so that you become the team expert. 
  • Liaise with Authors and Clients from the commencement of the brief and throughout the running of the accout
  • Project manage the account so as to ensure objectives are met 
  • Attend Conferences 
  • Mentor the Associates and review their work.
  • Write and edit copy for the deliverables (30% of your role)

You report to a Principal Publications Manager who in turn reports to a Scientific Director. You therefore have an excellent and clearly defined support structure.

Desired Skills & Experience

 

  • A BioMedical PhD / DPhil.

  • At least 3 years of experience as a Publications Manager, Account Manager, or Medical Writer
  • An understanding of Publications Planning and the associated deliverables such as manuscripts, abstracts, book chapters, and posters.
