Pharmacy First is looking for a talented bilingual professional to develop and maintain a working knowledge of the pharmacy industry space while growing partnerships with key clients.  The primary role is supporting and selling our programs and services to independent community based pharmacies in predominately Spanish-speaking markets.

The Account Manager responsibilities include: 

• Achieving territory sales goals for PSAO membership and elective services
• Participates in cross-functional team to develop specific market objectives and action plans that optimize business performance
• Analyzes the market to understand the local healthcare environment and uses this knowledge to identify and execute key marketing initiatives
• Executes key account business plans that are aligned with corporate business objectives
• Identifies immediate growth opportunities within the channel and recommends pull through strategies
• Maintains a robust pipeline and actively engages prospective accounts; while providing routine reporting to corporate Directors on sales progression and overall opportunities
• Collaborates with field partners, corporate Directors and internal team members to execute strategies, respond to inquiries and to resolve operational issues and/or needs.
• Serve as a point-of-contact for issue resolution in a timely and professional manner specifically for Spanish-speaking clients
• Participates in industry meetings, exhibits, and conventions, as appropriate, to build business relevant relationships
• Gain and maintain in-depth knowledge of benefits and features of all client services offered and communicated these benefits to current and potential clients

• Experience with managing projects and tasks in an efficient manner
• Ability to analyze financial reports and communicate results to client
• Effective analytical, oral and written communication and organizational skills
• Systems and software proficiency, including MS Office applications and CRM solutions

 Basic Qualifications: 

• BS/BA in Business related degree with an emphasis in Healthcare Management preferred
• Pharmacy services background, including knowledge of prescription drugs and specialty products
• Must be able to read, write and speak Spanish fluently
• Knowledge of PBM industries and PBM claims processing systems preferred
• 2 years sales and/or marketing experience preferred, but not required
