Job Description

As SAM you are encouraged by your Account Director to develop your strategic thinking.


You will  be accountable for driving ethical healthcare PR campaigns (UK & Global) through to completion.


You'll support the Account Director to line manage and mentor junior account team members. Moreover you'll understand the 'big picture' as you develop your leadership competencies. You will deliver media strategies that drives your clients' Ethical (Prescription only) Healthcare PR Campaigns. across traditional, digital, and social media.


Key Responsibilities of Senior Account Manager :

  • Primary client contact 
  • Overseeing day-to-day management of multiple client campaigns
  • Leading client meetings and client calls
  • Developing and maintaining client relationships
  • Support Account Directors and Seniors in : 
    • developing PR programmes to meet healthcare campaign objectives and strategie
    • evaluating results of PR campaigns (ROI)
    • creating and managing client campaign budgets
    • allocating work to junior account team members
    • meeting client service levels 
  • Ensuring profitability of accounts by monitoring account financials 
  • Assisting in business development activity such as identifying opportunities for internal growth, delivering  pitch presentations and writing of new business proposals
  • Mentoring of junior account team executives & managers

Key Candidate Criteria :

With previous PR campaign account management experience in prescription only medicines you will demonstrate an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry meaning you understand client's business objectives and the competitive healthcare market in which they operate. Further you'll demonstrate the ability to provide strategic counsel and moreover you'll be supported, by your Account Director, to develop the skills to influence, challenge, and manager the expectations of your clients.
