Charles River are looking for a Senior Scientist in DMPK Bioanalysis to grow our DMPK function, based at our Cambridge site in the UK. • Demonstrated practical knowledge of bioanalytical techniques within ADME/DMPK with hands on experience of bioanalytical method development and quantification of small molecules in complex matrices in a drug discovery setting
• Demonstrated experience of pharmacokinetic parameter determination and an understanding of the underlying principles
• The desire and expertise to tackle challenging analytes, driving your efforts to a successful outcome.
• An understanding of the approaches taken to identify metabolites in biological matrices
• A knowledge of the principles of PK/PD and PB/PK based modelling and simulation
• Comprehensive trouble-shooting skills
• An interest in new technology; an understanding of recent advances in bioanalysis, and how mass spectrometry can be applied to drug discovery outside of traditional DMPK studies
• Attention to detail; getting it right the first time and quality control are at the heart of what we do
• Strong organization and time management skills alongside an inbuilt flexibility to adapt to change
• Excellent communication skills and be an effective team player; these will be essential to successful execution of projects whilst working in a matrix and multi-skilled environment.
